Office 365 auf RD-SessionHosts – Nachtrag
Ein kleiner Nachtrag zu meinem Artikel “Office 365 auf RD-SessionHosts“:
Auf der HybrIT-Konferenz Ende November 2023 wurde im Zuge der Vorstellung von Windows Server 2025 auch etwas zur Nutzung & Support für Office 365 auf OnPremise RDS-Umgebungen gesagt. Microsoft wird Office365 auf allen Server-Generationen supoorten, die zum Zeitpunkt im Mainstream-Support (5 Jahre nach Veröffentlichung) sind. Das bedeutet also, dass es nach Windows Server 2022 doch noch weiterhin möglich ist Office 365 für RD-SessionHosts zu verwenden, sofern man eine aktuelle / supported Windows Server Version einsetzt.
Sobald ich den Microsoft-Artikel dazu wiederfinde, werde ich ihn hier noch einfügen.
